0. Network Setting

- Upon receiving the terminal from Paybyrd, simply power it on; it's ready for operation. By default, your terminal is connected to the 4G network.
- To switch your terminal to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Go to Advanced Options.
- Input the operational password for the Paybyrd App.
- Proceed to System Settings.
- Input the operational password for the terminal.
- Access Network & Internet.
- Toggle on the Wi-Fi option.
- Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to.
1. Login

- Please input the email address and password that you have already set up with us.
- If you have multiple merchant setup, select your POS store (location) in the following screen.
- Please be patient during the initial launch, ensuring that the terminal is powered on and connected. Depending on your configuration, the terminal would be automatically rebooted, then the operations will resume right after.
2. Payment

- To receive payment, press the “Payment” key and input the amount you wish to request from the customer. Press the “Okay” key to prepare for receiving the payment.
- Instruct your customer to present their card.
- Upon completion of the process, you will have the option to print a cardholder copy if your terminal supports this function.
- Please note that depending on your configuration, the screen view may differ from what is shown in the video.
3. Refund

- To initiate a refund, select the “Refund” key on the home screen.
- Choose the payment you wish to refund. To proceed, input the operational password that you previously set. Note: This password may differ from your login password.
- After password validation, your customer is prepared to receive the refund. Instruct them to hover their card over the terminal.
- Upon completion of the process, you may have the option to print a cardholder copy if the terminal supports printing functionality.
4. PayByLink

- PayByLink is a feature that enables customers to make payments via a payment link, rather than using a physical card. When accessing the payment link, customers will encounter an online payment form.
- You can generate the payment link directly on the POS terminal by selecting the “PayByLink” key. Input the customer’s email address and/or phone number to send the link. In subsequent screens, additional details such as expiration date, language preference for customer communication, and order reference can be set. Once the payment link is created, a QR code will also be displayed on the POS terminal screen, allowing customers to scan it with their phone camera for immediate access to the link.
- Within the “PayByLink” section, you can access a list of previous payment links. Here, you can review the status of each link, whether they have been paid (displayed as “Approved”), are still pending (displayed as “Generated”), or have been declined. By selecting each item, you can review its settings and choose to resend the link if necessary.
- After the customer completes the payment, you'll receive a notification on the terminal. If you don't receive it, you can find the "Refresh" button under the PaybyLink menu to force a status check.
5. Virtual Card
VirtualCard_EN.mov
- The Virtual Card option enables your customers to make payments without a physical card. By selecting the "Virtual Cards Payment" key, customers can input their virtual card information directly into the terminal to complete the payment.
- Please note that Virtual Card Payments is not enabled by default. To activate this feature on the menu, go to Settings → Feature Management → enable toggle for the Virtual Card Payment".
